Growth of Integrated Opportunities Leads to Appointment of Julie Adrian as inVentiv Health Communications European Managing Director

London – 24 October 2016 – inVentiv Health, a global professional services organization designed to help the biopharmaceutical industry accelerate the delivery of much-needed therapies to market, today announced the appointment of Julie Adrian as Managing Director for Communications in Europe. Adrian will now lead more than 300 European advertising, digital, public relations, medical communications, research, market access and clinical trial recruitment professionals. Adrian was previously U.S. Managing Director at Chandler Chicco Agency, where she grew both public relations and integrated communications offerings.

Adrian’s appointment as EU Managing Director unites the inVentiv Health Communications agencies, which include PR, advertising and medical communications, under a singular leader who will work across disciplines and offices to support inVentiv Health’s top talent while continuing to fuel EU growth. Adrian will oversee operations in London, Munich, Frankfurt and Paris and will report to Lisa Stockman, President of inVentiv Health Communications.

Further bolstering EU leadership is the promotion of Joanne Wunder to European Managing Director of inVentiv Health Public Relations Group, which includes Biosector 2, Chamberlain Healthcare PR, Chandler Chicco Agency and Frankfurt-based Haas & Health. The EU PR group has nearly 80 employees offering best-in-class capabilities spanning public relations, digital and social media, disease awareness, advocacy, clinical trial recruitment and analytics and measurement. Their collective expertise creates communications that drive corporate value, enhance brand perception and deliver on the bottom line.

Adrian brings more than 25 years of experience to the development and execution of healthcare communications programs in her new role. Prior to leading the agency’s U.S. and West coast operations where she delivered strong year-on-year growth, Adrian provided strategic marketing and corporate communications counsel for pharmaceutical, biotech and device clients while at Cohn & Wolfe, Fleishman-Hillard and Hoechst Marion Roussel (now Sanofi). Just this year, Adrian was named to the PharmaVOICE 100 list honoring the 100 most inspiring leaders in the life sciences industry.

Wunder has more than 20 years of experience providing senior strategic counsel to global pharmaceutical clients, including planning and implementing pre-launch and launch public relations campaigns for a variety of brands ranging from blockbusters to orphan drugs. She has extensive experience in stakeholder engagement and scientific data communications. Prior to joining inVentiv, Wunder held a senior role at Ogilvy Health PR, London, where she was responsible for leading multichannel disease awareness campaigns and the healthcare social media practice.
