inVentiv Health SVP, Diana Cucos, Honored as Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association Luminary
BOSTON – May 11, 2017 – inVentiv Health, a global professional services organization designed to help the biopharmaceutical industry accelerate the delivery of much-needed therapies to market, today announced that Diana R. Cucos, Ph.D., SVP, Global Clinical Monitoring at inVentiv Health has been named a “Luminary” at the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA). Cucos was one of the honorees celebrated at the HBA Women of the Year (WOTY) luncheon held today in New York.
HBA is the leading not-for-profit global organization committed to furthering the advancement and impact of women in healthcare worldwide. HBA’s annual Luminary selection celebrates women who have thrived in the biopharmaceutical industry for more than 20 years. Like Diana, these recipients serve as role models within their companies, actively mentoring other women and helping them advance their career pursuits.
“We are thrilled that Diana’s dedication to transforming the clinical trial development process has been recognized alongside other esteemed biopharmaceutical leaders by HBA,” said Michael Bell, Chairman and CEO of inVentiv Health. “Her commitment to identifying solutions to our clients’ most pressing challenges, by accelerating the delivery of important medicines, represents the sense of purpose that we all share at inVentiv Health.”
Diana’s career has focused on finding new ways to streamline and improve the drug development process and mentoring the next generation of drug development researchers. Her career started in biometrics, as a Ph.D. statistician, and has continued with roles of increased responsibility in data services, statistical programming and medical writing. Diana currently leads the company’s global monitoring organization where she uses a data-driven approach to the decision-making process to deliver superior results in dynamic environments.
To expand the celebration of Diana’s recognition and promote the dialogue around female leadership, inVentiv Health hosted a webcast viewing of the WOTY event from the company’s London office. For the past 16 years, inVentiv has been a member of HBA and has supported employees by providing access to a community of successful women role models and career-boosting tools.
